October 2009
After 88 years, the Savage Rapids Dam
has been removed from the Rogue River. DMG floats over the site
of the dam, shooting interviews with salmon advocates for NATURE.

Driving a model T across country, building
an adobe fort, and a regiment of Civil War re-enactors are all
part of shooting additional vignettes for Nomlaqa
Boda.

The documentary film CORSO,
The Last Beat premieres in Taormina Film Festival (Sicily)
(June 13 – 20) and is awarded “Best Film”. Featuring cinematography
by Harry Dawson, with shooting locations from Greenwich Village
to Rome, this documentary follows Gregory Corso as he seeks his
Muse in the wake of Allen Ginsberg’s death. Created by Director/Writer/Producer
Gustave Reininger and Hosted by Ethan Hawke. See

The dynamic sculpture/video Flight
Studies opens in Bilbao (Spain) and in China. Cinematography:
Harry Dawson in collaboration with artist Fernanda D’Agostino.
Harry’s work with Bill Viola was awarded
the Premi Internacional Catalunya 2009. Harry has been the Cinematographer
for all of Bill’s groundbreaking pieces since 1991. See the news
